Chief Human Resources Officer
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Lisa Tyson oversees every aspect of the employee lifecycle at Therakos: talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, and organizational communications. Lisa believes that the right people in the right environment, are what turn scientific promise into patient impact.
Lisa Tyson developed her HR leadership foundation while working at Johnson & Johnson and Bausch & Lomb. She also worked at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and later launched a boutique HR consulting and advising firm, working with organizations navigating growth, transition, and transformation. Throughout her career, she has been an HR business partner across all functions and has specialized in Talent Management. Lisa also established and led the HR function for Therakos when it was previously a standalone organization.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and a Master of Science in Career and Human Resource Development from Rochester Institute of Technology. She is also a certified Coach through the International Coaching Foundation (ICF).
